The "touch reflex"

Everything we touch daily, if made-up of non-organic materials, activates the "touch reflex"

Some body parts are more sensitive than others to this type of reflex. When we get into contact with natural, organic materials, the "touch reflex" doesn’t manifest itself.

"Every unnatural material that comes into contact with our bodies, especially with sensitive body parts such as hands, feet and the head, causes a motor inhibition. This does not happen when we get into contact with natural materials."

Thirty-four years of research and tests carried out with the help of athletes and professionals from a variety of sports, some of which are Olympians and world champions, have brought me to the discovery of an important reflex of the body, which I’ve named the "touch reflex": athletes’ reflexes to outside stimuli differ when tested while they have their gear and clothing on, compared to tests carried out on the same, but barefoot and barehanded, individuals.

Detailed studies that followed this initial analysis have demonstrated how everything we touch daily, if made-up of non-organic materials, activates the "touch reflex", as was observed through several tests conducted at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

If we disturb any cutaneous area of the body during movement, we cause a nervous inhibitory response to the movement or to the action that affects the entire body.

Muscular co-contraction has a negative influence on movement modulation and articular stability.

It can cause bad posture, muscle tension and pain, stiffness. Can facilitate strained muscles, sprains and can worsen resistance to fatigue and stamina. It can bring the body to experience stress, illness and other ailments.
